Writing an estimate
- Tap +, choose or type a customer, add a job name, then add items. Each item is labor, material or other, with a quantity, unit and rate.
- Turn off Taxable on an item (labor, permits) and tax is only charged on the rest. A discount is spread across taxable and non-taxable items so tax lands on what the customer actually pays.
- Set your default tax rate, terms and next numbers once under My business.
- Preview and send PDF opens the finished sheet; the share button sends it through Messages, Mail, Files or anything else on your phone.
Signatures and invoices
- Hand the phone to the customer: Customer accepts and signs captures a signature, marks the estimate accepted and prints the signature on the PDF.
- Make invoice from this estimate copies the items to a new invoice with a 30-day due date and links it back to the estimate.
- Record a deposit or partial payment in the Totals section and the PDF shows the balance due.
Bidsheet Pro
The free version lets you create three documents. Pro is a single purchase for unlimited documents; there is no subscription. If you bought it and it shows as locked on another device, open My business and tap Restore purchase while signed into the same Apple account. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Where is my data?
On your device only. It is included in your iCloud or computer backup. There is no account to log into and nothing on our side to recover, so keep your backups on.
